Strengthen Your Brain Functions – You Can Do It!

For thousands of years, people have lived in the belief that brain functions are closely linked to age and that their decline is inevitable over the years.

However, the real truth, confirmed by many scientific studies, speaks in favor of “eternal brain youth.”

Namely, scientists have determined that it is possible to maintain good brain function through regular “brain training” – regardless of age.

It has been confirmed that the mental abilities of some seventy-year-olds who regularly trained their brain functions were far stronger than the mental abilities of their peers who neglected them.

Moreover, the ability of their brains showed more successful results and even surpassed even younger generations who did not stimulate their mental skills during their lives.

How do mental exercises affect brain functions?

Just as regular physical activity is necessary for good physical condition and fitness, so it is also necessary to “work” the brain, or intensively carry out all kinds of mental activities, to maintain and improve mental abilities.

In simple words; don’t let your brain get lazy!

The amount and intensity of mental activities that are applied throughout life will provenly maintain the vitality of the brain even in late life.

What exercises to apply?

  • Every activity that stimulates brain alertness is of great benefit.
  • According to experts, the most effective are those actions that are unknown to the brain. In other words, avoiding routine actions strengthens your gray cells.
  • To maintain brain fitness, repeating what you have already learned will not be of much use – devote yourself to activities that the brain perceives as new and inexperienced.
  • Solve more complex crosswords – an example of ideal gray cell stimulators are sudoku puzzles
  • Try to memorize as much content as possible that you have not yet learned
  • Try to remember the license plate numbers of your friends and acquaintances, mobile phone numbers, dates of birth
  • While driving in unfamiliar parts of town, pay attention to street names and try to memorize them
  • Play board games like chess or memory puzzles
  • Try to remember as many objects as possible in each visited space, for example, memorize everything that surrounds you while waiting in line at the bank or post office
  • Right-handers will benefit from performing everyday activities, such as writing, typing on a mobile phone, using cutlery, brushing teeth, etc., with their left hand, and left-handers with their right hand

All of the above, but also many other similar activities that require increased brain alertness, will keep your brain functions in top shape.

Research has shown that results can be felt after just a few weeks of intensive training.

We all want a long life, but do we care enough about what its quality will be?

Will we be happy with old age if our brain functions are limited, if we will not remember, remember, or understand?

Some of us can influence the length of life, but we can all influence the functions and abilities of the brain!

Dedicate a few minutes a day to brain exercises and you will be convinced that mental abilities do not go hand in hand with age!
